Green Day Vintage Trio

Unlike many of my peers, I did not leave Green Day behind when they shifted their sound. In fact, I thought “21st Century Breakdown” was one of the best records they’ve ever released. I know I’m in the minority and I’m okay with that. If you didn’t like that record, well optic-nerve‘s got you because all of these are early designs. We’ve got 2 Dookie designs and one Kerplunk (one of my all time favorite records). The negative side is those starting bids…come on man.

Vintage Green Day Chef Dog “Dookie” Shirt

There’s only 8 days until Christmas, so you may not make it in time to buy this vintage Green Day shirt from kevinshumway. But for the price that it’s selling at I’m sure you can stand waiting for it. I remember seeing this shirt back in 90’s at Sam Goody and wanting to buy it. I just could not get over those early 90’s ugly color shirts. Some reason ugly color shirts were really in.

VINTAGE GREEN DAY NIMROD LS TOUR SHIRT

luminol16 is selling a vintage Green Day tour shirt. This shirt is from Green Day’s 1998 tour in support of their album Nimrod. Nimrod was the last Green Day album I really got behind. I still respect the fact that they are out there making good music for people to enjoy. This is a great shirt to own especially since it is a long sleeve one.

Green Day’s Shot

wyco_vintage says this is from the “Dookie” era of Green Day but I feel like it leans more towards “Insomniac”. Insomniac did come out at the tail end of 1995 so that sounds more appropriate to me. Maybe this was printed up when the band released “Geek Stink Breath” as a single prior to the release of “Insomniac”. No tour dates so it’s probably a mall tee.

Vintage Green Day Shirt

While Billie Joe is away getting himself right, you might want to check this Greenday shirt thatctbuyerseller is selling. I’m sure this shirt will get a few looks. I never really got passed Nimrod. I’ve seen Green Day once and it was on Warped Tour 98, or was it 99. I don’t remember, all I know is they were awesome.

Who Wrote Holden Caulfield?

Good ol wyco_vintage…always pulling out some killer stuff. Green Day‘s “Kerplunk” is still one of my favorite records…it reminds me of my first couple years of high school and I can still go back and listen and remember some really great times in my life. Getting back to reality, the tee is on sale but it’s still a little too rich for me. I wish the band would play this from start to finish on tour…I mean it is the 20th anniversary of the record’s release.
